Associate Veterinarian - ER
Lauren Jaquay, DVM, MBS
Dr. Lauren Jaquay is an associate veterinarian and part of the 2023-2024 rotating intern class at Pieper Veterinary. Originally from Hamilton, New York, she graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science, and from Colorado State University with a Masters of Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Animal Anatomy. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota, and has special clinical interests in neurology, neurosurgery, and physical rehabilitation.
When not working, Dr. Jaquay enjoys horseback riding, and doing hiking and agility with her 3-year old Vizsla, Maya. She grew up on a farm surrounded by many different types of animals, and has always had a keen interest and wanted to be involved with helping out sick or injured animals. Dr. Jaquay appreciates the challenge of solving the "puzzles" of veterinary medicine, especially when the end result is a patient who is feeling better and healthy. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is working with pets' owners and helping to empower them as part of their pets' health care team.
